1896 (12 May) registered long blue linen-backed envelope addressed to ‘Thomas Easton, 71 Maple St, Newcastle-on-Tyne, England’ ornately decorated with assorted stamps cut-to-shape including part of the addressee's name and on reverse stamps formed in the shape of a lucky horseshoe, all cancelled by Labuan cds, registered ovals in red London (14.6) transit and black Newcastle (15.6) arrival; small parts of stamps missing and other minor imperfections.
