1933-44 mint and used collection housed in an album, including 1933-38 Maharaja Rama Varma II set as imperf plate proof pairs (1a & 1a8p in blocks of 4) in issued colours, 1933-38 recess issued set to 10a with some blocks, 1938 litho set to 2¼a sage-green with blocks and larger multiples to complete sheets of 48, 1a brown-orange (SG 70 cat £120) perf 13x13½ 1a brown-orange (SG 70b cat £180), 1939 ‘ANCHAL’ large surcharges, with litho 1a brown-orange variety wmk inverted used (SG 73b cat £550, a trifle toned), small ‘ANCHAL’ with perf variations, 1942-44 surcharges with noted variations (malformed letters etc), 6p on 1a brown-orange (litho) surcharge type 22, perf 13x13½ (x2 mint singles, SG 81a cat £325 each), and used example (cat £100), 9p on 1a brown-orange surcharge type 22 (SG 82 cat £300 x2), small Anchal surcharge type 23, 9p on 1a brown-orange perf 13x13½ mint (light bend and tones SG 83 cat £750).
