<p>1920 deep blue on blue, printed ‘AYRE & SONS, LTD’ business envelope, used from Lushe's Bush to St. John's, bearing 1920 3c on 15c bright scarlet (type A, with bars 10½mm apart) lightly tied by barred cancel, with part despatch cds below. Backstamped by machine arrival for Oct 21. Stamp with minor gum soaking on perfs and central fold to envelope. Nevertheless an attractive and very scarce usage from such a small office. Only 3000 printed of the type A surcharge. SG 145&nbsp;</p>
