<p>1897 2½d on 1s dull lilac, opt Type 13, mint, large part o.g. which is slightly toned as often seen, still a fine example of this very scarce stamp of which only 142 examples were possible. BPA Certificates (1985 and 2020), the former for old SG 66a, now SG 66b, £1,800.</p>
