<p>1882-90 1s mauve, with variety watermark inverted, mint, large part o.g., with evenly toned gum and unobtrusive h/s on reverse, a few short perfs at foot and a tiny stain, still a very collectable example of this rare watermark variety, of which we aren't aware of any other mint examples. SG 20w, unpriced mint.&nbsp;</p>
