1840 1d black, Plate 10 (DE), with very good margins on a cover addressed to London neatly tied by the distinctive black Perth Maltese Cross and backstamped by Perth boxed h/s for NO 5 1841 and South Methven Street R.H. circular mark with further cds's for the 6th and 7th. The cover with a few faults, but still a rare usage of a Plate 10 1d black within Scotland. SG 2.
