<p>1905 ex De La Rue Archives, lower marginal strips of 6 1904-09 ½d grey-green and 1d black on red, both chalk-surfaced paper, watermark MCA, printed from a special trial plate of twelve (6x2) line perf 13¾. The trial status is demonstrated by the line perforation, the side of the margins equal on both sides and the Jubilee lines, which differ from those of the normal stamp printing plate. Mint large part o.g. These trials appear to have been prepared for use in ink and cancellation trials undertaken in Feb-Mar 05. No other examples appear to have been recorded; these strips are possibly unique. SG 132a,133a, var.&nbsp;</p>
