Includes 1885 envelope with signed letter from Major-General Sir Redvers Buller VC to Major Egerton, 1893 (16 Nov) from Frederick Villiers, 1892 from Field Marshall George, Duke of Cambridge to John Baldwin, signed "George"; 1897 (14 Oct) from Arthur Duke of Connaught to "Coke", signed "Arthur"; 1898 (6 Jan) envelope with signed letter from General Sir Neville Lyttelton to Lieut. Col. Allatt, 1899 (13 Nov) from Lord Wolseley to Sir Evelyn Wood regarding the incident in which Sir William Francis Butler was denied the possibility of seeing the Queen when she visited Bristol, signed "W", 1899 (18 June) from Hector Archibald MacDonald ('Fighting Mac'), 1904 autograph note by Major-General F.
