1840 1d Mulready lettersheet stereo “A254” addressed to Ayr cancelled by the distinctive small and thin black Maltese cross of Edinburgh head office and backstamped with orange cds for MAY 3 1842 and AYR boxed h/s for the following day. A couple of vertical filing creases, but still an attractive Mulready. Spec. ME1.
