1889-96 5c green upper left-hand marginal plate block of 30, showing plate number ‘1’ variety watermark inverted, and constant ‘broken M’ on R4/5, mint large part o.g. (four stamps with traces of hinging, the rest unmounted), some folded perfs and odd trivial tones, not detracting from otherwise overall fine appearance and rare. Undoubtedly the largest surviving multiple of this wmk variety and unique with the broken ‘M’. SG 22w/a(w) £9000+&nbsp;
