1840 1d Mulready Lettersheet, Forme 2 Stereo A22. A magnificent used, hand-coloured example beautifully cancelled by a perfectly struck black MC with a “Hackney SO” handstamp and a Torquay double-arc cds on obverse for MY. 16. 1841. Backstamped with a London dispatch cds for the previous day. Superb quality and very rare to find a hand- coloured Mulready in combination with a black MC. BPA cert (2008), SG ME1, Spec. ME1f.
