Colombia 1902 stampless envelope to Paris, endorsed in red “Vapor Franca” showing fine three-line violet handstamp with the charge added in manusctipt and postmasters signature, fine Franch maritime octagonal COLON A BORDEAUX L.D. No 3, reverse with large violet Govermental handstamp and Paris arrival. During the Civil War which ended in this year stamps were no new stamp supplies were sent from Bogota and from spring 1902 provisional handstamps were used; envelope slightly reduced at top of little consequence to this rare item.
