QV to QEII valuable collection, mint and used in four albums and packets in carton, including 1875 1d on 2d to 1d on 1s, to 1s, 1918, 1924 and 1938 2s to £1 accumulation of key plates in singles and in blocks of 4 ripe for study, 1935 1d and 2½d S Jubilee u/r blocks of 4 showing ‘bird by turret’ varieties, 1970 24c on 2s watermark Crown to right, mint 1865 1d rose-red wing-margin gutter block and another block of 4, 1s horizontal gutter pair, 1872 plate proof of the 1872 1d horizontal pair on glazed paper overprinted “CANCELLED”, and 3d orange single overprinted “CANCELLED”, 1883 2d block of 8, overprinted “SPECIMEN” sets include 1883 to 1s, 1906 to 4d, 1918 5s, 10s and £1, 1920, 1921 Tercentenary sets to 1s, 1921 ½d Tercentenary watermark Crown to left of CA, c1922 1s purple single printer's sample overprinted “SPECIMEN”, 1935 S Jubilee to 1s perforated “SPECIMEN”, 1936 to 1s6d perforated “SPECIMEN”, 1946 Victory in vertical pairs perforated “SPECIMEN”, 1952 £1 perf 13 u/r corner marginal block of 4 with BPA certificate (2014), 1962 9d u/l vertical strip of 4, the top 3 showing spectacular light blue dry print, used 1918 10s (2), 1964 2d watermark inverted, RPS certificate (2010), 1970 6c on 6d watermark inverted (3), selection of 6 reprinted unadopted designs for KGVI definitives, similar to issued designs for 1953 set 1970 5c poinsettia imperf proof single, artist's essay of the $1.20 (170x112mm) similar to issued SG 264, $1.20, mounted on black card with, in manuscript, “A colour rough by Gordon Drummond” on reverse, plus a small selection of WWII outgoing censor mail, 1948 mint 5s booklet (2) and 10s 6d, various forgeries include, 1865 'Three Pence' on 1d, 'Liquidation of Empire 1½d (2), 2½d and 3d. Used includes 1874 3d on 1s BPA certificate (1978). Careful inspection will pay dividends, might well suit the on-line retailer. Condition mainly fair to fine throughout. (thousands)
