<p>1927-28 Script CA £5 black on yellow affixed to large part “PARCEL POST” label (98x44mm), tied by double strike of ‘LARNACA CYPRUS/ PARCELS’ cds&nbsp;(Proud type PP4) dated ‘16 JU' with blank year plug, plus a further part strike on piece. An excessively rare usage of the highest importance; Castle stated that this stamp would ‘hardly ever have been used to frank missives by post’ due to its high face value, and it follows that every other used example we have record of is cancelled to order for philatelic purposes. An exceptional showpiece of King George V, and Cypriot philately, almost certainly a unique survival. RPS Certificate (1979). SG 117a&nbsp;</p>
