<p>1930 cover from St. Johns to England endorsed ‘Per air mail ’Columbia/ Hr Grace to London/ Sept.1930, franked by 50ct on 36ct sage-green ‘Air Mail’ tied by St Johns machine cancels for Sep 25, backstamped by Harbour Grace cds for OC 9, some creasing and reinforcement to the cover, still fine example of this air mail rarity, with only 300 stamps issued, of which 100 were used on covers, with 70 being cancelled at St. Johns (and the other 30 at Harbour Grace). SG 191, £6000</p>
