<p>1921 Air Mail ‘Halifax’ opts mint and used collection with covers, on exhibition pages, including: 35ct with 1½mm spacing, mint single and pair with single used on piece with St Johns machine cancel for Nov 17, day after issue, 2½mm spacing 35ct on cover to Canada, cover franked by 35ct tied by St Johns machine cancel for JU 14 1929 marking the 10th Anniversary of the First Transatlantic Flight, and six covers all prepared for the Botwood to Halifax flight, where due to engine failure all indented mail to be carried was sent by train to Port aux Basques for the steamer to North Sydney then by rail to Halifax, generally fair to fine condition.
