<p>1887-92 4d stamp-sized die proofs, printed in black on white glazed card, mounted to DLR striking book pieces (3, 2 for the Head Plate only and one for the Duty Plate only), one Head Plate die proof initialled ‘W.G' and dated ‘nov 22 1886’ and endorsed ‘80 Leads’, the other dated ‘may 23’ [1890] and endorsed ‘160 Leads’, and the Duty Plate piece dated ‘July 7’ and endorsed '40 Leads/6 extra leads July 16. The latter with a small surface scratch, still an attractive group of unique pieces. For SG 205, <i>from</i> £4,500.</p>
