Blue Leather Album with Gold inscription, being the actual pages and stamps illustrated in Dr W.R.D. Wiggins' book "Repaired Impressions" (published 1982), this being Volume LXXXVII, covering pages 49-95, all being Die II Alphabet IV from plate 51. Offered intact with every stamp illustrated included and full of scarce repairs, including KB state 1 (1, ex Osborne – unpriced in Gibbons), clipped perfs at right, state 2 (9, cat.£700 each) and state 3 (6). Includes a page on JD not in the book and the original correspondence from Dr Osborne, etc. SG 42 (5 covers, 230+ stamps/pieces).
