Description
Blue Leather Album with Gold inscription, being the actual pages and stamps illustrated in Dr W.R.D. Wiggins' book "Repaired Impressions" (published 1982), this being Volume LXII, covering pages 1-48. Offered intact with every stamp illustrated included, covering plates 3 and then 33-48 and full of scarce repairs, with additional stamps included not illustrated in the book. Many scarce items including C3 Plate 3 TB state 1 and 2, mint block of twelve plate 42 QG-RL, irregular block of nine plate 48 PL-TL, strip of four 48 QL-TL, used block of four and strips of four (2), a pair plate 47 cancelled bright green numerals, transitionals including plate 45 etc . Wonderful reference for the specialist. Spec. C3, C8-C10. Approx. 300 stamps/pieces including a few covers.
