1858-9 extensive collection of covers, stamps and pieces cancelled by the Charles Rideout No 1 Machine cancellation, with various types, well written up in green Philatelic album. Also examples showing the use of the dated portion only. Mostly on line-engraved 1ds (7 covers, 50+ pieces/stamps) and 2d (3 covers, 12 stamps/pieces), a couple of penny pinks; also surface-printed with 4d (including pair on cover to Prussia) and 6d stamps, and a few covers with the date stamp used only. Mostly fine to very fine selected examples.
