1857-8 Pearson Hill experimental cancels.  A small collection on leaves of these scarce early experimental duplexes, mostly on 1d reds but a few other stamps included. The very rare PHT 1, code M, a single red lettered JF, PHT 2 on 1d reds (1 cover, 14 stamps/pieces) and complete strike on 1855 2d plate 5 on piece, 2d plate 6 on 2 stamps and 4d SG 66, Opera Glass PHT 4 on 2d Plate 6 SG 36a. Some with date varieties. Chiefly fine, mostly fine strikes, an impressive group of these scarce/rare cancels. 1 cover, 4 pieces and 16 stamps.
