1856 1d rare strip of four (two pairs, rejoined in the centre) in the plum shade, from the scarce Plate 22, lettered BI-BL, fine used.  Some hints of toning, still a remarkable multiple, ex Robson Lowe 4.3.93.  Ex Wiggins, described by him as the only strip of four seen by him from this plate.  SG 31, Spec C8(3), cat £3000 as singles
