1856-64 1d reds twelve sheets, being the A row from the Wiggins plating book of Alphabet III plates 22-68 plus R15-R17. 557 stamps out of a possible 576 are present, so missing 19. Included are 9 from 22, 5 from 64 and 3 from 65. Of the rarer plates, the following are believed incorrect : 22 AA, 64 AB, 65 AH (which is 64) and AL. The verified rarer plates alone catalogue £9,250. Chiefly fine. Spec. C8-C13.
