<p>1914 cover sent locally within London, bearing Harrison & Sons Trial Cinderella stamp in reddish purple (similar colour to 6d) showing King William St. cds for 26 JU. This cover was presumably unnoticed by the Post Office and passed through contrary to regulations! The GPO notice of 1908 outlawed the use of labels resembling postage stamps. Odd stains and archival mounting on reverse, otherwise fine, an interesting and scarce item.&nbsp;</p>
