<p>1843 (May 10) entire letter to Auckland, New Zealand bearing 1d red-brown horizontal strip of six (KA-KF) and 2d blue with white lines, each tied by black Maltese Cross, cover showing ‘6’ rating mark and Wellington (AU 10) and Auckland (AU 28) transit and arrival handstamps on face. Paper very yellowed and aged with peripheral faults, water staining at lower left, and creasing to stamps (1d (KE-KF) and 2d) amongst other faults, still a desirable and early international imperforate franking.
