1890 £1 Brown-lilac (I.R. Official Wmk. Orbs). Very fine and fresh unused o.g. example of this difficult departmental issue lettered AD, couple of light vertical creases and a hint of toning at upper right, virtually invisible to the naked eye and mentioned purely for accuracy. Despite the aforementioned imperfections this stamp has an outstanding rich and fresh colour and is undoubtedly one of the most appealing examples of this great philatelic rarity.
