1911 ½d Die proof of the accepted design (Die 1a). Very fine example printed on R.D. Turner gummed "Crown" watermarked paper in lake brown (intended colour for the proposed 1½d value), cut close on three sides with "5A" above design. Mounted on thick card inscribed "1½d" at foot.
