1840 1d Mulready lettersheet. Example sent from Linlithgow to Dalmeny, then to Cramond with the addition of an 1841 1d Red-brown (SG8, FA just cut into top left) tied by manuscript “1” and then readdressed to London with additional manuscript “1” on the entire. The stamp has been lifted to reduce staining but a quite remarkable and much travelled Mulready full of visual appeal. SG £12,500. With BPA Cert (1996).
