Very fine wrapper sent from Frankfurt to London via Calais bearing a transit datestamp at right for SP 12 1819. two ‘CHARGE’ handstamps and a red ‘REGISTERED' CROWN handstamp (Jay L1127, previously recorded in use between 1820-32 in this colour). Bearing two F.P.O. dotted London datestamps for SE 27 1819 on reverse. Rare cancellation and the earliest recorded example of this Registered handstamp. Ex Willcocks.&nbsp;
