1840-1970s extensive mixed mint and used collection housed in a stock book, including: numerous 1840 1d blacks, with plated and un plated examples, examples on cover, matched pairs and horizontal strip of four used on piece struck by red MC's, photographic forgery ‘used’ on piece, 1840 2d blue (10), assorted Penny Red types with 1864-79 plates to 225, mint blocks of Plate 79, 173 and 196, (the latter a marginal block with inscription) 1870 ½d with plate 9, £5 orange, 1887 Jubilee 4½d mint pane of 20, KGV with 1½d chestnut showing HALFPENCF flaw, Seahorses, 1929 PUC £1 used, Wildings, ranges of 1960s-70s errors and varieties, with shifted colours, shifted Queens Head, 1966 Battle of Hastings phosphor missing grey, blue and green, mixed condition with fine, careful sorting sure to reward, a lot with much potential.
