1877 £1 Telegraphs colour trial. Superb unmounted o.g. imperforate top marginal vertical strip of three lettered DA-DC, showing plate number "1" & part sheet inscription printed in dull claret, overprinted "SPECIMEN" type 8. A lovely positional piece, very rare so fine.
