1922 Cambridge Agricultural Show. Very fine George King registered cover with original certificate of posting, bearing  2x ½d green (SG351), 2x 1d scarlet (SG357) and a 2d Orange (SG370) all tied by three strikes of the very rare 'Royal Show Cambridge' skeleton datestamp for JY.8.1922. Cambridge 'No.6' registration label at lower left, London and Lewisham registered receiving datestamps on reverse. A couple of the usual minor tones as often seen on items from the George King collection. Without the herculean efforts of this avid collector many of these rare show and exhibition cancels would remain unknown to this day.
