1858 Registered mail. Very attractive wrapper from Grimsby to Naples prepaid at the 1s8d rate (10d postage plus 10d registration for routing by French packet via Marseiles) by a 1s green (SG72) and two 4d rose (SG66a), all tied by Grimsby '323' numerals with a Grimsby cds above for NO.16.1858. Also shows a large red London Crown/Registered handstamp, black and red 'Charge' handstamps, boxed and circular 'P.D.' handstamps and London and Calais transit datestamps for NO.17.1858. Top flap removed from opening nevertheless a very busy and colourful registered franking.
