1852 1d Red brown Pl.154. Very fine used example lettered showing the distinctive serpentine "Treasury" roulette, neatly tied to a clean cover by a London City "25" numeral. Backstamped with London datestamps for DE.17.1852. A magnificent example of this rare unofficial separation method, rarely seen on cover in this quality. 2010 BPA Cert, Spec. B2(1)a, £15,000.
