1840 to 1970 mint and used collection, neatly presented in two Pragnell ring albums, used including 1840 1d black (8) four are 4-margin examples, 2d blue (2) 3-margin examples, 1841 1d red-brown from black plates selection, 1841 2d blue (9), 1864 1d plate selection, 1858 2d blue (7), 1870 ½d selection, 1847 10d embossed, close but clear cut, surface printed values to 2s (3), 1880 1s. orange-brown 1876 8d orange, 1880 ½d to 5d, 1883 lilac and green to 1s, 1918 seahorses 2s6d, 5s and 10s, mint includes 1864 1d red plate 221, 1880 2½d plate 22, 4d plate 18 and 1s plate 14, 1880-81 ½d to 5d, 1883 9d, 1887 Jubilees to 1s ( 2 of each), KEVII to 1s, 1912, 1934 to 1s, 1939 to £1 including 10s dark blue, then mint and used QEII to 1970. Slightly mixed condition still with many good to fine.(hundreds)
