1840 Hume's No.2 'Ballooning' Mulready caricature (State1). Very fine used example sent from Edinburgh to London, cancelled by a red 'Paid at Edinburgh' cds and a London 'PAID' tombstone for JU.9+11.1840 respectively. 'WILLIAM/STREET' receiving office handstamp on reverse. A very attractive and rare envelope, especially so fine. 2022 RPS Cert.
