1912-24 mainly mint collection of shades arranged in two stockbooks with scores of Certificates including ½d very pale green, very deep green, olive-green, myrtle-green, deep cobalt-green, new moon flaw, cracked plate, a dry print error, 1d pink, deep carmine-red, scarlet-vermilion pair and single, deep orange-vermilion, no watermark (2), Q for O, 1½d very deep red-brown, brown, deep yellow-brown, PENCF variety in marginal block of four, top frame damaged variety, 2d Die I no watermark, 2½d French blue, deep bright blue, 3d very deep violet (2), brownish violet, frame breaks, 4d deep slate-green, 5d white by V of REVENUE, 6d slate-purple, perf 14, 9d very deep agate, also many Specimen and Cancelled overprints throughout, plenty of control singles and blocks, and watermark varieties. Some difficult shades and an ideal lot for reference as many are certified. Generally good to fine condition. SG 351/396. (Many 100s).
