1841-74 line-engraved used balance collection in an album including 1841 1d red-brown Plate 1b used with ‘mixed inks’ MC appearing blue (RPS Certificate 2010), an example used by blue town double-arc ds (RPS Certificate), 1d red brown Plate 123 on lavender-tinted paper (RPS Certificate), 1d orange-brown (RPS Certificate), 1d Plate 150 used by chocolate-brown Belfast cancel (Brandon Certificate), Plate 163 used by ‘mixed inks’ Dublin numeral appearing green (RPS Certificate), Plate 135 orange-brown (RPS Certificate), Plate 134 on thicker, lavender tinted paper (RPS Certificate), 1854-57 1d orange-red (SG 17var, RPS Certificate), Plate 203 orange-brown (SG 22var, RPS Certificate), Die II Alphabet II Plate 5 & 6 minute G varieties, Die II Alphabet III red-brown on blued paper (Spec. C7, BPA Certificate), and paper more or less blued shades with deep claret, 1856-58 perf 14 with late use of black Maltese Cross, 1854-57 2d blues with watermark Small Crown perf 14 and 16 Plate 5 (SG 20a, 23a RPS Certificates), watermark Large Crown perf 16 2d blue (SG 27, 2 examples, RPS Certificates), perf 14 Plate 6 watermark inverted, 1856-58 2d deep blue (RPS Certificate), 1858-76 Plate 9, 12, 13, 15 watermark inverted, 1870-74 1½d both plates in both shades plus OP-PC error of lettering (RPS Certificate). Condition is generally good to fine, a very useful lot with much retail potential. (Many dozens).
