1884 2d (2 oz) magenta "POSTAL PACKET", showing hollow stop after "B", "VICE-CONSULATE" h/s in black, cancelled by red diagonal control line (? pre-cancel for accounting purposes), with corner gumming intact. A superb premium example with lovely deep colour, and a particularly crisp strike of the handstamp. Seldom seen in this quality and most attractive.
