1942 violet opt, part set to $10, 22 values, (lacking only the 3c black, 8c red-brown, 15c orange and $3) all lower marginal and all but the $4 and $10 with part imprint (mostly matching), unmounted o.g. A few values with trivial gum toning as often, but mostly very fine to superb. (The 2c green and 12c blue have the opt across the portrait, the 6c carmine opt at foot, the other values opt at top, as usual.). A magnificent series, extremely scarce in this form and quality.
