FORGERIES: selection of forgeries of the early issues of India, including: Engraved Forgery of 1852 Scinde Dawk ½a blue, with the desgin being blue against a white background (the reverse of the issued stamp) ‘used’ on piece by octagonal Sind District d/s for AU 7, 1852 Scinde Dawk good forgeries of the ½a blue (2, one artifically stained) and an old forgery of the ½a red cancelled by ‘dotted’ mark, and 1854-55 group of ‘used’ forgeries of the ½a and 1a (4) odd faults, an interesting lot.&nbsp;
