Description
Hejaz: 1925 4th October 1924 specialised overprint group with rouletted ¼pi overprinted on front and twice on reverse toned mint never hinged, ½pi red overprint inverted and double upright, blue overprint upright and inverted, ½pi scarlet and 1pi blue inverted, zig-zag roulettes including 1pa inverted bottom marginal used, overprinted both sides toned mint never hinged and double overprint on reverse left-hand marginal, ½pi green red double overprint, one inverted, blue and gold overprints inverted, others inverted, similar issue additionally overprinted with framed ‘1340 Hashemite Kingdom 1340’ including ⅛th yellow mint never hinged (pos 29); a fine specialised group, most being positioned by vendor in pencil.
