1869-1900s mint and used collection written up on pages, including 1869 3c brown on yellow mint block of 8 and many used examples including double oval, ‘S' in diamond, duplex, manuscript cancels and a few forgeries, 1871 issue with stop after ‘THREE’ varieties (4), forgeries, unofficial perforations, and postmark interest, 1875 set to 12c (21 mint sets) and postmark study with blocks cancelled ‘S’ in diamond and sets with crisp Sarawak cds's, 1888-97 set to $1 (3) with additional study of the 2c and 5c, 1889-92 1c on 3c Type 5 with SURCHARGE DOUBLE (SG 22a, cat £600), 1c on 3c Type 6 with no stop after ‘cent’ variety, 1892 1c on 3c brown on yellow with mint blocks of up to 21, stop after ‘THREE’ variety (8), imperf between stamp and margin variety, and defective overprints study, 1895 set to 8c (15 mint, 18 used), 1899 sets to 4c on 8c (6 mint, 3 used) and additional blocks and study, 1899-1908 set to $1 (2 mint, 3 used), unissued 5c olive-grey and green complete right pane of 60 (SG 48, cat £1,800), 1902 2c green mint block of 18 (SG 49, cat £1,260), 1918 set to $1 (1 mint, 3 used) and set optd ‘SPECIMEN’ and unissued 1c slate-blue and slate block of 12, 1923 second printing 1c on 10c dull blue block of 4 (SG 74, cat £2,400) and 2c on 12c strip of three; two with Narrow W variety, 1928-29 set to $1 (3 mint, 2 used) and set (less 5c) optd ‘SPECIMEN’, 1932 set to $1 (1 mint, 4 used), 1934-41 set to $10 (1 mint, 2 used), and 1900s bogus native sailing ship stamps (4 sets).
