Description
1867-99 mint collection (181) on leaves. A very good degree of completion, without the rarities but including many better stamps. Commences with 1867 overprint values, the set less 6c and 12c, mixed gum (where gum is present; some without) but with good appearance, and the 1867-72 set in similar condition, plus the 2c o.g. with inverted watermark (thin spot). Thereafter many good surcharges (not all guaranteed) and other stamps including SG 20-1, 33, 33-4, 44-5 (two each), 46 (surface rub), 41, 42, 47, 48-9, 50-3, 54, 57, 61, 63-71 including 6c inverted watermark (small part o.g., but faulty, a rarity unpriced in Part 1), 73, 76, 78, 80 (fair), 82, 84 (two), 95-105. Condition is inevitably mixed, but this collection is a fine basis for expansion or resale, catalogued in excess of £16000
