MAHATMA GANDHI: 1939 (15.1) Postal stationery 9p card addressed to Jawaharlal Nehru, Anand Bhuvan, Allahbad postmarked by double-ring datestamp and overstruck further dated handstamp (date not clear) written in English stating ‘ My dear Jawaharlal, I got your letter, I have never been able to understand or appreciate the labour of the committee. I do not know that it is working within its four corners of her committee is being kept informed of its doing - I have not understood its purpose of the numerous sub-committees. It has appeared to me that where money and labour are being wasted on an effort which will bring forth little or no point. M K Gandhi’; two filing holes but nevertheless a fascinating item.
