1865 watermark Elephant's Head 1a deep brown, marginal block of eighty (8 x 10, i.e. a quarter of a sheet of 320), with marginal inscriptions, plate number ‘258’ and arabesque ornate pattern at top margin, mint large part o.g. (majority of piece unmounted) odd toned spots, some perf separation and creases to lower right corner and typical horizontal folds, nonetheless an attractive and scarce multiple. SG 59 £1400++
