Description

Red stockbook with a lifetime's accumulation of Paquebot and similar markings, the great majority pre-QE II, nearly all on loose stamps or piece but with a few cards/covers. Mostly British Commonwealth but with German Colonies, etc., roughly sorted into geographical areas. There must be many hundreds, obviously most being on normal letter-rate values but with exceptions. Includes vessel and arrival markings. Certainly the most extensive collection of its type we have seen for many years. Also, at the back, a small collection of the 1924-5 British Empire Exhibition cancels, including Malaya, and remarkably on a Bermuda KGV 10s. Mixed condition.
