Description
1858-1934 used collection (273) on leaves, no ‘primitives’ but otherwise apparently complete for basic stamps during the period, with many errors, and generally in outstanding quality. Commences with four-margined Britannias SG 26-8, 29 (2), 32-5, then 1860 set, 1862 pair, 1863-72 set with all shades and seven inverted watermarks, 1876-7 surcharges with 1s on 5s bright mauve watermark inverted, 1878 surcharge set, 1879 set with 8c pair and 17c watermarks inverted, 1883 set with 8c watermark reversed and 25c inverted, 1883-91 surcharges including SG 117a, 118a, b and c, 119a, 120c, 121b and c, 1899-1900 including SG 134a, 136w, 1900-5 set plus SG 141w, 153w, 1902 set and 12c on 36c surcharge inverted, 1904 set, 1910 set, 1913-22 set with all listed variants, 1921-6 set including the 50r (this just a trifle washed) and 1921-34 set.
