1861-1960s mint and used collection, mostly classic ‘Hermes’ head types, in three stock books housed in a carton, including: 1861 Paris Prints 5l emerald/greenish, 20l blue/bluish 40l mauve/blue, 80l carmine used pair, 1st Athens prints (coarse & fine) figures on back types, 1862-67 2nd Athens print 5l 1872-75 and 1875-80 printings 20l with figures at the back double varieties, 1886-88 later ‘Hermes’ Heads duplicated range with pairs and blocks and 1920s to 1960s assortment of printers waste showing array of varieties including double prints, colour and perforation shifts and offsets on reverse, fair to fine condition, an interesting lot for the specialist.
