1842 (22th April) entire Aberdeen to Germany but incorrectly sent to Guernsey. On front  manuscript 'Missent to Guernsey'  with two supporting Guernsey cds's on reverse. The letter was subsequently returned from Germany with various charges and endorsements with transit marks "PAID/AT/ABERDEEN" in red, a fine "RETURNED FROM" of the London Foreign Branch in orange-red and the Baden h/s "WP" for 'Weiterporto' postage due for local Baden delivery. Most unusual.
